"Road Safety for Makaton Users" has been created to provide basic road safety guidance to road users, their instructors, teachers, and carers who have a need to use or communicate through Makaton (a symbolic signing language for people with learning difficulties) In partnership with the Makaton Vocabulary Development Project and the London Borough of Newham, the LAPC have developed a comprehensive 56 page book resource to allow basic road safety to be taught to Makaton users.
